Tangerin AI launches an AI Governance platform for Brazilian companies
Bootstrapped startup, founded by an executive with 30 years in cybersecurity, offers a free Shadow AI exposure assessment and a proof of concept for companies that want visibility and control over how Artificial Intelligence is used
São Paulo, October 1, 2026 — Tangerin AI, the independent AI governance platform, today announced its official launch in the Brazilian market. The solution was built to give companies visibility into how their teams use AI tools — including so-called “Shadow AI,” the unauthorized or unmonitored use of AI applications inside organizations — and to bring control and governance to what, at most companies today, is only a blind spot.
The platform arrives at a moment when the adoption of Artificial Intelligence tools in Brazilian companies is growing faster than the ability of technology and security teams to map, assess and control that use. Employees adopt AI assistants and applications on their own to be more productive, often without the company knowing what data is being shared, with which tools and under what conditions — a growing risk for compliance, data protection and reputation.
