Is the 14-day trial free?
Yes. You have 14 days to explore the platform at no cost. After the period, you choose the plan that best fits your needs.
What counts as a 'workstation'?
Each machine (workstation, laptop, server) with the Tangerin AI agent installed counts as one workstation.
What is the annual plan discount?
Annual billing offers an 8% discount compared to monthly, equivalent to just over one free month. The full amount is billed at the start of the annual cycle.
What are the compliance frameworks?
They are the regulatory frameworks pre-configured in the platform, totaling 24. Starter accesses 8. Business accesses 16. Enterprise and Scale access all 24.
Does the agent impact machine performance?
Not perceptibly. The agent runs as a background service with minimal CPU and memory usage, designed for corporate environments.
Does Tangerin AI collect conversation content?
No. We record usage metadata only: which tool, when, on which workstation and with which signed-in user. Never the content of conversations, prompts or files.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from the dashboard. An upgrade takes effect immediately, with the prorated difference. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid period, and your history then follows the new plan's limit (Starter keeps 3 months). Export anything you want to keep beforehand.
How does the Scale plan work?
Scale starts at 2,000 workstations, from $3,499/month, and grows in packs of 500 workstations. The per-workstation price drops as volume increases ($1.17–1.75/workstation), with unlimited admins. Bought straight from the dashboard, no salesperson: you pick the number of workstations and pay online.
Where is my data stored, and is Tangerin AI SOC 2 certified?
Data is stored in São Paulo, Brazil, on managed infrastructure (Supabase for the database, Vercel for the application), and we collect usage metadata only (which tool, when, on which machine), never the content of conversations, prompts or files. Tangerin AI does not yet hold its own SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification, and we do not claim one; our infrastructure providers hold SOC 2 Type II, which covers their infrastructure, not Tangerin AI's operations. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+), each customer's data is isolated at the database level, and we notify affected customers of a security incident within 72 hours.
